Switch the device on
► If necessary, switch the monitor on (see the operating manual for the monitor).

► Switch on the device using the main
power switch located on the rear of the device (if present).
► Press the O N/ OF F switch on the front of the device.


een and the device is started.
Switching off the device
► Shut d own the operating system in a de fined mann er. In Windows: via the
Start menu and the Turn Off Computer function.

switch it off, press the ON/OFF sw
itch. Warning, this could lead to a loss of data!

If the device is in standby, it consumes a minimum of energy.
► Switch the device o ff at the main swi
tch (if prese nt).

The device no longer uses any power.
The main s witch and the ON/OFF switch do not disconnect the device
from the mains voltage. To completely disconnect from the m ains voltage,
remove the power plu g from the power socket.
► If necessary, switch the monitor
off (see the operating manual for t he monitor).
