Troubleshooting and tips
Comply with the safety information in the "Safety" manual and the chapter
"
Getti ng started", Page 11, when attaching or d etaching cables.
If a fault occurs, try to rectify it in accordance with the measures d escribed in the following documents:
• in this chapter
• in the documentation re lating to the peripheral devices
• in the Help se ctions for the individual programs
• in the documentation for the operating system in use.
Help if problems occur
Should you e ver have a problem with your computer that you c annot solve yourself, in m an y c ases
you can solve it quickly using the SystemDiagnostics program pre-installed on your computer.
► To start the SystemDiagnostics program, click S ta rt symbol - Program - Fujitsu - SystemDiagnostics.
► If a problem is detected during the test run, the SystemDiagnostics program outputs
a code (e .g. DIFS c ode YXXX123456789123).
► Take a note of this DIFS code and the ID number of your device. The ID number can
be found on the type r ating plate on the back of the casing.
► For further clarification of the problem, contact the Service Desk for your count ry (see the
Service Desk list or visit the Internet at "
http://ts.fujitsu.com/suppor t"). When you do this, please
have ready the identity number and se rial number of your system and the DIFS code.

► Check that the main switch at the rear of the
monitor is set to the "I" position.
► Switch the device on.
Internal power supply o

► Pull the power plug of the device out o f the
mains outlet.
► Wait a m oment.
► Plug the pow er plug into a properly grou nded
mains outlet again.
► Switch the device on.
