Do not throw away the slot cover. For cooling, protection against fireandinorderto
comply with EMC regulations, you must refit the slot cover if you remove the board.

► Push the board into the slot (1).
► Tighten the screw on the slot cover (2).
► Secure the cover plate on th e casing ag ain.
► If necessary, connect the cables to the board.
► Close the casing (see "
Closing the casing", Page 33).
If you have installed or removed a board, please check the relevant PCI
slot settings in the BIOS Setup. If necessary, change the settings. Further
information is provided in the PCI board do cumentation.
