Switch the device on
► If necessary, switch the monitor on (see the operating manual for the monitor).

► Switch on th e device using t
he main power switch located on the rear of the device (if present).
► Press the ON/OFF switch on the front of the device.

The power-on indicator
lights green and the device is s tarted.
Switching off the device
► Shut down the operating system in a defined manner. In Windows: via the
Start menu and the Turn Off Computer function.

stem does not automatically switch the device into energy-saving mode or
switch it off, pres
s the ON/OFF switch. Warning, this could lead to a loss of data!

If the device is in standb y, it consumes a minimu m of energy.
► Switch the device
offatthemainswitch(ifpresent).

The device no longer uses any power.
The main switch and the ON/O F F switch do not disconnect the device
from the mains voltage. To completely disconne ct from t he mains voltage,
remove th e power plug from the power so cket.
► If necessary, switch the monitor off (see the ope rating manual for the monitor).
