The indicators are on the front of the casing. Which indicators are available on your
device dep ends on the configuration level you have s elected.

The indicator lights up when the device’s hard disk is accessed.

In en ergy-saving mode, th e device must not be switched off with the main pow er switch
(if present) or disconnected from the mains, as this may result in data loss.
•Theindica
tor is green: the device is on.
• Indicator lights up oran ge or flashes green (depending o n the type of device): Device is in
power-saving mode. After being switched on with the On/Off switch, the device switches
on or returns to the state it was in before it went into power-saving m ode.
• The indi
cator is not illuminated: The device is switched off (power switch set to 0 or disconnected
from the
mains) or ready. If the device is ready it can be switched on with the ON/OFF switch.

emove the floppy disk when the indicator is not o n.
