Installing and removing drives

The PC casing can accommodate a total of five drives:
• three accessible drives (two 5¼ -inch drives and one 3½-inch d rive)
• two non-accessible hard disk drives (two 3½-inch drives w ith half installation height)
"Accessible drives" are e.g. DVD or CD RO M drives, into which a data
carrier can be inserted from outside.

inch drive is for example a diskette drive or a multicard reader.
These drives can be used to read data storage media.
Removing and installing ac cessible drives
The number of scre ws used to attach the drives varies according to the type of
drive fit ted and may not necessarily match the depiction below.

► Open the casing (see "Opening the casin g", Page 32).

► Disconnect all cables connected to the drive (data cable, power supply cable).

The drive now protrudes slightly out of the casing.

► If necessary, make the required settings on the remaining hard disk drive.
