Switch the device on
► If necessary, switch the monitor on (see the operating manual for the monitor).

► Switch on the device using t
he ma in power switch located on the rear of th e device (if prese nt).
► Press the ON/OF F switch on the front of the device.


Switching off the device
► Shut down the o perating system in a defined manner. In Windows: via the
Start menu and the Tu rn Off Computer function.

stem does not automatically switch the device into energy-saving mode or
switch it off, pres
s the ON/OFF switch. Warning, this could lead to a loss of data!

If the device is switched off, it consumes a minimum of energy.
► Switch the device
offatthemainswitch(ifpresent).

The device no longer uses any power.
The main switch and the ON/O F F switch do not disconnect the device
from the mains voltage. To comp letely disconnect from the mains voltage,
remove the power plug from the power socket.
