Initial switch-on: Software will be installed

Once the installation ha s been started the device must not be switched
off, unless the installation has been completed.
During the installation process, DO NOT restart the device unless
you are requested to do so!
Otherwise the installation will not be carried out correctly and the contents
of t he ha rd disk will have to be completely restored.
If the device is integ ra
ted into a network, the user and server details as well as
the network pro toco l ar
e required during the software installation.
Contact your network a
dministrator if you have any questions about these settings.
When you switch on the d
evice for the first time, the supplied software
is installed and confi
gured. Plan a reasonable amount of time for this,
as this process m ust
not be interrupted.
You may need the lic
ence number for W indow s during the installation. The licence number is
locatedonastick
er on your device (see "
Remove the bottom cover", Page 25).
Switch on the monitor and the machine
In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the ve ntilation areas
on the monitor or the device.
► Switch on the monitor ( see operating instructions for the monitor).

s the on/off button on the front of the machine.
The operational display will light up and the machine will start.
