Ê Reinsert the air duct. Make sure that the hooks of the air duct engage in the
fan cage.
Ê Close the server and plug in the power plugs (detailed description see the
Options Guide).
4.5 Replacing the SAS board for 3.5-inch drives
Ê Open the server as described in the section “Preparation” on page 17.
Ê Pull both hard disk modules out for a few centimeters.
Ê Remove all cables from the SAS board.

Ê Pull the SAS board upward until the four bolts disengage and then take out
the SAS board in direction of the system fans.
Ê Insert the new SAS board on the bolts and push the SAS board down until
the bolts engage.
Ê Connect all cables to the SAS board (see the cabling plan in the Options
Guide).
Ê Push the hard disk modules entirely in place.
Ê Close the server and plug in the power plugs (detailed description see the
Options Guide).
