Accessible drive
7.1 Installing a SATA DVD drive
The optical drive must be inserted in a mounting frame before sliding it in the
server. The parts required for the installation are shown in the photo below:

Ê Open the server as described in the chapter "Preparation" on page 25.
Ê First remove the dummy module by pushing it forward out of the housing
(see figure 19 on page 49).
I In order to be able to push out the DVD drive or the dummy module,
you must press the lock on the side (see oval) sideways.
V CAUTION!
Keep the dummy module for future use. If you remove the accessible
drive again and do not replace it with a new one, the dummy module must
be reinstalled to comply with EMC regulations and to satisfy cooling
requirements and fire protection measures.
