Installing the hot-swap backplane

Ê Set the hot-swap backplane into position by lowering it over the metal tabs
(see arrows in figure above).
Ê Plug all relevant cables into the hot-swap backplane (see the cabling plan in
the appendix of the Options Guide).
Ê Plug the cable from the power distribution board to the front panel fan board.
Ê Plug the cable from the system board to the front panel fan board.
Ê Reinstall the memory rug (see figure 13 on page 32).
Ê Push all HDD/SSD modules and the optical drive back into their bays in the
housing until they engage.
Ê Plug all memory boards and memory dividers back into their slots.
Ê Close the server as described in section "Closing the server" on page 22.
This completes the replacement of the hot-swap backplane.
