TosetuptheScaleformanualsorting,completethefollowing:
1. Ensurethatnoportissetforsorting.ForfurtherdetailsseeCommunications
(p26).
2. Settherequiredsortmode.
a) TurnthemodeselectionswitchtoS.
b) SelectSORTMENU.
Thecurrentmodedisplaysatthetopofthescreen.
c) Pressthe softkeyuntiltherequiredsortingmodeis
displayed.
ThesortingmodecyclesbetweenSortingOffandSortingfrom2‐wayup
to‐way.
3. Settherequiredsortlimits.
a) Pressthe softkeytoselectthesortlimityouwishtochange.
b) Tochangeagatenumber:
Note:IfnosorterisenabledintheCommunicationsmenu,thengate
numbersarenotdisplayed.
 Press todeletetheexistinggatenumber.
 Usethekeypadtoenterthenewgatenumber(0to).
c) Tochangeasortlimit:
 Press todeletetheexistingsortlimit.
 Usethekeypadtoenterthenewsortlimit.
Note:
Setupthesortlimitssothatthesmallestisatthetopandthelargestis
atthebottom.Ifyouenterthesortlimitsoutoforder,theScale
reordersthem
onceyoupress .
d) Repeatstepsforallrequiredchanges.
4. Press
tosavethechangesandreturntotheSETUPmenu.

andLGateslabels.
 HGatessetsthegatenumberforanimalsthatweighanythingHigher
thantheSortLimit.
 LGatessetsthegatenumberforanimalsthatweightheSortLimitor
anythingLowerthantheSortLimit.
 Onthe3WAYSORTINGscreen,gatenumbersareshownagainsttheH
Gates,CGatesandLGateslabels.
 HGatessetsthegatenumberforanimalsthatweighanythingHigher
thantheUpperLimit.
