InFinemode,theScaledisplaystheweightontheplatforminthesamewayasa
bathroomscale.
Ifaweightmeasurementistobeaddedtothesessionstatistics,theoperator
pressesthegreenweighbutton.Theweightiscapturedatthispoint,butitisnot
storedintheweightrecorduntiltheweightisremovedfromtheplatform.After
theweighthasbeencaptured,thestatisticsareupdated.Forinformationabout
statistics,seeSessionstatistics(p35).Thedisplayedweightcontinuestoreflect
theactualweightontheplatform.
InFinemode,automaticzerotrackingisswitchedoff.ThismeanstheScaledoes
notautomaticallycompensatefortheweightofobjectsleftontheplatformafter
theloadhasbeenremoved.Formoreinformation,seeZerotracking(p83).
ThebluezerobuttonhasafunctioninFinemodeifyouwanttomakenet‐weight
measurementsofaloadinsideacontainer.Forexample,youcouldplacean
emptycontainerontheweighingplatformandpressthebluezerobutton.Ifyou
thenfilledthecontainer,theweightindicationwillbeonlythatofthecontainer's
contents.
Note:InFinemode,afterthebluezerobuttonhasbeenpressed,theweightindication
showszerobutthe icondoesnotdisplay.
