Thank you for choosing the Garmin® Astro™ Dog
Tracking System. The Astro 220 uses the proven
performance of Garmin GPS and full-featured mapping
to create an unsurpassed portable GPS receiver and, when
combined with the DC 20, an accurate and reliable dog
tracking system.
Tip and Shortcuts
To quickly return to the Main Menu from any page,
press the MENU key twice or press the BACK key
repeatedly.
To extend battery life, turn off the GPS when not
using the Astro 220 for navigation or dog tracking.
Also, decrease the level of the display’s backlight, by
quickly pressing and releasing the POWER key.
To extend the battery life of a DC 20, turn the unit off
when not tracking a dog, or decrease the update rate.
