4.1 Site preparation
Introduction
This section describes the site planning and the preparations necessary to perform before
installation of an ÄKTA avant system. The purpose is to provide planners and technical
staff with the data needed to prepare the laboratory for the installation.
The laboratory site must be planned and prepared before installing the ÄKTA avant
system. The performance specifications of the system can be met only if the laboratory
environment fulfills the requirements stated in this chapter.
