To change target times:
1 Drive the compression to 0 cm. (Select the program number 65 /tAr
with the kV+ button. Press Autoexp to enter the tAr program. The
density display shows “0”. The kV display shows the compression
thickness and the mAs display shows the corresponding target time).
2 Press Autoexp. Density display shows 0, kV display shows thickness
and mAs shows target time for this thickness (you can see target
times for different thicknesses by driving the paddle up and down).
3 Press Autorel. Density display shows 1 (T1). The kV display will show
the current compression thickness. Drive the compression plate to
desired thickness for the first target time. Alter the target time with
Den+/- buttons.
4 Press Autorel. The density display will show 2 (T2). The kV display will
show the current compression thickness. Drive the compression
plate to desired thickness for the second target time. Alter the target
time with Den+/- buttons.
5 Press Autorel. The mAs display will show PAS or ERR depending on
the programming being successful or not. The density display shows
0 and the target times for different thicknesses can be viewed by
driving the compression paddle up and down.
6 Change the filter/cassette holder and repeat from step 1.
NOTE!
The Target time is separately adjusted for Mo/Rh and Bucky/Magn/
Cassette tunnel.
7 Press Autoexp to exit the program. Pressing autoexp during
programming (steps 3-4) returns the program to step 1 without
accepting new values.
