5.Usingasmall,atbladescrewdriver,gentlylifteachendofthemodemto
releaseitspinsfromtheirsockets.
6.Usingyourngers,liftthemodemandremoveitfromthedevice.
7.Reassembletheinternalmodembyreversingthestepsforremoval.
a.Usethegureinstep4ofthisproceduretoorientandpositionthe
modeminthehole.
b.Visuallyalignthepinsonthemodemwiththesocketsonthemainboard.
c.Pushthemodemtoseatitinthesockets.
d.Ifthegapsbetweenthemodemandtheholedonotmatchthegure
instep4,removethemodemandrepeatthisstepuntilthemodemis
properlyseatedasshowninstep4.
8.Performtheapplicablecheckoutprocedures.
