Use of gel
In order to ensure optimal transmission of energy between the
patient and the transducer, a conductive gel must be applied on
the transducer lens.
The following gels have been tested to be compatible with the
Vscan Extend.
For more information regarding probe care, refer to the website:
http://www3.gehealthcare.com/en/Products/Categories/
Ultrasound/Ultrasound_Probes. Select Dual Probe on Vscan
and G3S Probe on Vscan from the Transducer list to get the
details.
CAUTION
If the gel comes in contact with the eye, consult the gel
manufacturer's instructions.
