General scanning recommendations
Before each use:
Inspect the transducer (see ‘Before each use’ on page 6-3).
After Each Use
• Inspect the transducer (see ‘Cleaning the probe’ on
page 6-6)
• Clean the transducer (see ‘Disinfecting the probe’ on
page 6-9).
• If required, clean the device and the display (see
‘Disinfecting the device’ on page 6-7).
• If required, disinfect the transducer (see ‘Disinfecting the
probe’ on page 6-9).
Ensure that the main unit and the transducer are properly
cleaned after each use and before storing in the case.
WARNING
If any damage is found on the transducer or its cable, DO NOT
use the Vscan Extend. Contact GE service.
