4. Press Settings on the Menu screen.
5. Press System Settings.
6. Press Upgrade Software.
The following message displays:
Current software version is:
New software version is:
7. Press OK to proceed with the upgrade.
NOTE: You cannot upgrade the Scanner software to a software version
lower than the currently installed software. If you try to do so, a
message displays: “Not allowed to proceed”.
The Vscan Extend may have security patches which need an
update.
WARNING
GE is not responsible for any virus affecting the Vscan Extend
device which may result in data loss.
