  A programming error in the GEM Control Unit may occur due to several reasons. First, ensure a compressed air supply is available during the programming procedure; then, re-programme. It can also happen if the programming was deactivated before both end positions were reached in Manual programming mode, in which case you should re-programme. Finally, ensure the minimum stroke was reached and re-programme.

  An AS-Interface error on your GEM Control Unit can occur if the slave is addressed to zero; address the slave to resolve this. Also, check the AS-Interface net if no AS-Interface communication is available.
