17 Disassembly
Disassembly is performed observing
the same precautionary measures as for
installation.
G Disassemble the diaphragm valve
(see chapter 11.1 "Valve disassembly
(removing actuator from body)").
18 Disposal
G All valve parts must be
disposed of according to
relevant local or national
disposal regulations /
environmental protection
laws.
G Pay attention to adhered
residual material and gas
diff usion from penetrated
media.
19 Returns
G Clean the diaphragm valve.
G Request a goods return declaration form
from GEMÜ.
G Returns must be made with a completed
goods return declaration.
If not completed, GEMÜ cannot process
credits or
repair work
but will dispose of the goods at the
operator's expense.
Note for returns:
Legal regulations for the protection
of the environment and personnel
require that the completed and
signed goods return declaration
is included with the dispatch
documents. Returned goods can
be processed only when this
declaration is completed.
