Troubleshooting
Alarm Display Text Description Set Alarm Clear Alarm
UNKNOWN IA An alarm code was reported that
is not in the official list
of internal alarms. This alarm
should never occur in the field.
An alarm was reported that
does not exist.
Clear the alarm using
the Display.
XFER GENTRIP The transfer switch on the
generator failed to open when
requested or closed
unexpectedly.
The Main Controller tries a
user-specified number of
attempts through the
configuration file to open
the generator transfer
switch after a failed
attempt. If the number of
attempts is exceeded
before the transfer switch
successfully opens, a fault
occurs. This fault will also
occur if the switch is
manually closed.
Turn the keyswitch to
OFF. Verify the
generator transfer switch
is open and the Main
Controller indicates
switch position correctly.
Clear the alarm using
the Display.
XFER GENCLOSE The transfer switch on the
generator failed to close when
requested.
The Main Controller tries a
user-specified number of
attempts to close the
generator transfer switch
after a failed attempt. If the
number of attempts is
exceeded before the
transfer switch successfully
closes, a fault occurs.
Turn the keyswitch to
OFF. Verify the
generator transfer switch
is open and the main
controller indicates
switch position correctly.
Clear the alarm using
the Display.
XFER UTILTRIP The transfer switch on utility
failed to open when requested.
The Main Controller tries a
user-specified number of
attempts to open the utility
transfer switch after a failed
attempt. If the number of
attempts is exceeded
before the transfer switch
successfully opens, a fault
occurs.
Turn the keyswitch to
OFF. Verify the utility
transfer switch is open
and the main controller
indicates switch position
correctly. Clear the
alarm using the Display.
