Information
• To increase recognition rates while
registering the face.
- Do not cover the face with masks or
other accessories and look into the
face recognition camera lens straight
ahead.
- From the center of the face, naturally
change directions of the face to
register.
- Register the face indoors or away
from direct sunlight.
•
If face registration is not possible, audio
guidance is provided from the vehicle's
interior speaker 15 seconds after
registration starts. Faces cannot be
registered in the following situations.
- When the face is covered by a mask,
sunglasses, hat, etc.
- When the driver is not in front of the
face recognition camera.
- When the face is not directly facing
the camera lens.
- When the face is too far away (over
0.8 m) from the camera.
- When the face is too close (0.3 m or
less) to the camera.

Face registration may be canceled in
the following situations.
- When the infotainment system screen
is changed.
- When the vehicle is turned off.
- When you start driving.
•
After registration, if there are
difficulties recognizing the face due to
changes in appearance such as makeup,
beard, or glasses, register the face
again.

The infotainment system may change
after software updates. For more
information, refer to the manual
provided in the infotainment system
and the quick reference guide.
Deleting registered face information
1. Place one or more smart keys inside
the vehicle.
2.
While the Start/Stop button is ON,
select ‘Vehicle Settings → User
Profile → Driver 1 or Driver 2 → Face
Recognition’ from the infotainment
system.
3.
Enter the profile password and select
‘Register/Remove Face
→ Remove’.
4.
Delete the registered face information
according to the message ‘Are you
sure you want to delete all information
of driver 1?’.
