5.3.2 Weld Mesh Fencing
The sensor should be strapped to the horizontal rails of weld-mesh fencing with
GQTY1 cable-ties. This provides both the best level of detection and the least obvious
visible indication that the fence is electronically protected.
Normally the horizontal rails are on the attack side of the fence, and the cable will need
to be pressed against one at each tie to ensure a good contact.
If the horizontal rails are on the secure side of the fence, the cable will lie comfortably
against one and should be tied every 200mm to ensure a good contact.
