Remote Control Connections
ELECTRICAL CONTACTS
The MINIPULS 3 can be started and stopped remotely using electrical
inputs. The direction of rotation and pump speed may also be
changed. The electrical contacts are made using the terminal block
on the rear panel. The contacts, which are numbered 1 through 8,
have the functions listed below. Contacts 2, 4, and 8 are ground
connections.
Pair 1-2 is a contact input that changes the pumping direction.
Pair 3-4 is a contact input that starts/stops the pump.
Pair 5-6 is not used.
Pair 7-8 controls the speed of the pump using an analog voltage
signal. For more information, refer to Pump Speed (Analog
Input) on page 55.
