Tables below describe the possible physiological alarms, technical alarms and prompt messages occurring during NIBP
measurement.
Physiological alarms:
NIBP SYS measuring value is above upper alarm limit.
NIBP SYS measuring value is below lower alarm limit.
NIBP DIA measuring value is above upper alarm limit.
NIBP DIA measuring value is below lower alarm limit.
NIBP MAP measuring value is above upper alarm limit.
NIBP MAP measuring value is below lower alarm limit.
Technical alarms(display in the prompt area below NIBP value):
Transducer or other
hardware of NIBP module is
incorrect.
Stop using measuring function of NIBP
module, notify biomedical engineer or Our
service staff.
Communication with NIBP
module is failed.
If failure persists, stop using measuring
function of NIBP module, notify
biomedical engineer or Our service staff.
Cuff is no properly wrapped
or no cuff exists.
Cuff, hose or connector is
damaged.
Check and replace the leaking parts, if
required, notify biomedical engineer or Our
service staff.
Stable pressure value is not
available. e.g. hoses are
tangled.
Check if the hoses are tangled, if failure
persists, notify biomedical engineer or Our
service staff.
Cuff is too loose or patient
pulse is too weak.
Use other methods to measure blood
pressure.
Measurement range exceeds
the specified upper limit.
Reset NIBP module, if failure persists, stop
using measuring function of NIBP module,
notify biomedical engineer or Our service
staff.
Affected by arm motion,
signal noise is too large or
pulse rate is not regular.
Make sure that the patient under monitoring
is motionless.
Pressure has exceeded the
