This function permits an evaluation of
the continuity of the active conduc-
tors L(1, 2, 3) and N of an extension
cord. The PE conductor isn’t tested
in this case!

Connecting the EL1 Adapter
➭ Connect the EL1 adapter to the P1 spe-
cial sockets at the test instrument.
➭ Connect the plug at the end of the ex-
tension cord to the test socket.
➭ Connect the coupling socket at the end
of the extension cord to the plug at the
EL1 adapter.
