a.Removethefrontcover.
b.Withthemotorpoweredoff,con󰘰rmthatthe
indicatinglightsonthebodyofeachproximity
switch(211)turnsonwhenametallicitem,
suchastheshaftofascrewdriver,isplaced
onthefaceofeachswitch.
c.Iftheindicatinglightsturnon,theproximity
switches,itswiring,andtheHCMarelikely
operatingcorrectly;proceedtostep2.Ifthe
indicatinglightsdonotturnon,proceedto
step6.
2.Con󰘰rmtheproximityswitches(211),switch
bracket(209),andswitchingplate(319)are
󰘰rmlymountedandnotdamaged.
3.Checkdistancebetweentheproximityswitches
(211)andtheswitchingplate(319).
a.Parkthepump.
b.Con󰘰rmthattheproximityswitch(211)
nearesttheA-sideofthepumpisbackedout
0.5to1.5turnsfrombeingincontactwiththe
switchingplate(319).
c.Disconnectthecablefromtheproximity
switch(211)nearesttheB-sideofthepump.
Operatethepumpuntiltheswitchingplate
(319)islocatedabovetheB-sideproximity
switch,thenturnoffthemotor/pump.
d.Con󰘰rmthattheproximityswitch(211)
nearesttheB-sideofthepumpisbackedout
0.5to1.5turnsfrombeingincontactwiththe
switchingplate(319).
e.ReconnectthecabletotheB-sideproximity
switch(219).
