7-3 Adjusting the Ecopress
7-308 Operating the Index Ruler For Hole Line Borings (accessory) Illustration 7-308-01
Tools needed: Open end fork wrench 8/10 mm

Index ruler is an accessory
The index ruler is used to set the distances between the individual side stops in 32 mm
distanced notches for the hole line borings.
- Set the first side stop on the desired dimension (64 mm + the desired beginning of the hole
line from the stop edge of the workpiece.
- Place the index ruler A with the edge A1 on the first side stop.
- Loosen the next side stop and slide it towards the edge A2 of the index ruler, then the next side
stop against the edge A3... then A4
- If there are more than 4 side stops necessary, the index ruler lies on the 4th stop with edge A1 and the
other 3 stops can be set.
In order to avoid adjustment errors, respectively adjustment precision, between left and right, we recommend setting
the stops on the second side with a stop adjustment gauge.
7-309 Adjusting the Hold Down Clamp (Accessory) Illustration 7-309-01
Tools needed: Allen wrench 5 mm
The hold down clamp is an accessory and is suitable for material thickness of up to 40 mm.
- Loosen both Allen screws on the backside of the hold down clamp with a 5 mm Allen wrench (1).
- Move the hold down clamp (2) to the desired position.
- Tighten both Allen screws.
Caution:
There is a minimum distance (illustration 7-309-01) between the hold down clamp and the motor support, as well as
between the gearbox and hold down clamp.
There are risks for injury for machine operators and for damages to the Ecopress.
