Sweep Adjustments
Sweep adjustments are critical to achieve proper advancement and in turn, maximize sweep performance.
1. To adjust the overall sweep length, remove the four mounting bolts holding the adjuster plate
to the sweep backplate. Re-position it to achieve desired length and then re-install hardware.
(See Figure 4AJ.)
2. The height of the sweep backplate can be adjusted both at the wheel and at the center gearbox
assembly (106). (See Figure 4AK and Figure 4AL.)
3. The sweep backplate can be adjusted in and out at the center gearbox assembly (106) to achieve
the desired sweep flight to the sweep backplate spacing. (See Figure 4AM.)

4. To adjust the elevator wheel, loosen the top nut and move to the desired position. Then re-tighten
the hardware.
