Clean the filter The TEG analyzer has a filter assembly mounted at the rear of the unit to filter
air as it is drawn into the unit by the fan. This filter should be washed
periodically, depending on frequency and conditions of use.
To clean the filter:
1. Grasp the edges of the filter cover and pull to remove it.
2. Remove the filter from the cover.
3. Rinse the filter under warm running water until it is clean. Do not use
soap or any cleaning solution.
4. Squeeze out any excess water, place on a clean cloth, and allow to dry
completely.
5. Ensure the filter is 100% dry, and then reinsert the filter into the filter
cover.
6. Press the filter cover back onto the analyzer.
7. Record the date of maintenance.
