FILM FEED BELTS REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT (See Figure 5)
CAUTION: TURN THE MAIN DISCONNECT ON THE CONTROL PANEL TO THE "OFF"
POSITION AND REMOVE THE AIR SUPPLY FROM THE MACHINE BEFORE
MAKING ADJUSTMENTS.
1. Turn the Main Disconnect to the “off” position and remove the Air Supply to the machine.
2. Loosen the two belt tensioners in the same manner as described in the “Film Feed Chain Tension”
adjustment section.
3. Loosen the bolts that secure the rail guides located on the guide support brackets. This will allow you to
release the pressure of the idler pulleys against the film feed belts (See Figure 5).
• Note: Only one side of the Belt Path's Idler Pulleys need be loosened to release the pressure of the Idler
Pulleys against the Film Feed Belts. This will maintain proper adjustment above Side Seal
Knife.
4. Loosen the bolts that secure the independent idler pinch pulleys to the tail pulley plate.
5. Loosen the bolts that secure the idler pinch pulleys to the fixed fill opening. Also the two pinch bearings
located on the fixed fill opening.
6. Loosen the bolts that secure the take-up pulley bracket and both take-up pulleys.
