Off-site transport
Caution: Prevent vibration of the gear unit. Vibration can cause damage to the
gears and the bearings.
Procedure
1. If you move the gear unit with a train, prevent damage to gears and bearings. Use an
anti-brinelling device.
On-site transport
Lift the gear unit
Note: The certified drawing shows more data:
• dimensions
• mass
H.I.T. makes sure that all necessary lifting points are installed on the gear
unit.
These are the possible lifting points:
A Integrated lifting eye
B Integrated bar
C Lifting eye and bolt
