3. Output voltage: increases with engine speed (peak
value exceeds 400 mV at 60 rpm);
5. Winding resistance: 1000 ohm ±10% at 25+5°C;
4. Gap between the receiving part of the sensor
and the setting disk: 0.5–1.5 mm;

6. Winding inductance: 290±30mH at 1kHz.
4. Troubleshooting
(a) Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor power, measure the resistance
between terminals A and B on the wiring harness with a standard
multimeter. If the measured value is out of range, replace the sensor.
3. Pin arrangement
(a) The crankshaft position sensor is an electromagnetic sensor mounted
near the crankshaft and operates in conjunction with a 58-lobed target
disk located on the crankshaft. As the crankshaft rotates, the protrusions
of the disc move past the sensor. The sensor determines the change in
the magnetic resistance, on the basis of which the output signal is
formed. The maximum gap between the driving disk corresponds to the
top dead center of the first cylinder. At this point, opposite the receiving
part of the sensor is the 20th protrusion of the target disk, and the
corresponding signal is used by the engine control unit to determine the
rotation speed
(b) If the crankshaft position sensor fault code appears after the engine is
started with normal sensor resistance, check the following:
(1) Check the encoder drive disk for damage.

crankshaft.
ÿ A: signal
(2) Check the clearance between the sensor and the setting
shchy disk.
ÿ B: ground
2. Options
(3) Check the magnetic core for damage and excessive metal dust.
(4) Check if the toothed belt is installed correctly. Bring the pistons of
cylinders 1 and 4 to the TDC position and check that the sensor is
opposite the 20th protrusion of the master disk.
1. No external power required.
