wheel hub.

Tighten the front axle nut to the specified
torque.

Removal
• Disconnect the front brake cable (1) and
integrated brake cable (2) from the
integrated brake arm (3) and brake panel
(4) by removing the front brake adjusting
nut (5) and integrated brake adjusting nut
(6).
(b) Front wheel (Drum type)
• Support the vehicle securely on the main
stand and raise the front wheel off the
ground.
• After installing the wheel apply the brake
several times and then check if the wheel
rotates freely. Recheck the wheel if the
brake drags or if the wheel does not rotate
freely.

Tighten the axle nut.
Axle nut torque: 5.4 kgf-m
•
Remove the axle nut (7).
•
Remove the wheel.
•
Remove the axle (8) and side collar (9).
Installation
•
Install the front wheel by ensuring that the
lug (10) on the left fork is located in the slot
(11) in the brake panel.
•
Reverse the removal procedure.
•
After installing wheel, apply the brake
several times and check for free wheel
rotation when released.
•
Adjust the front brake free play and
integrated brake free play (page 46).
