3.1.4.1. Analyze the vertical angle of a data point
The designed vertical angle of Channel 5 is 7°, according to Appendix A Channel distribution data.

The accurate vertical angles are recorded in the angle correction file of this lidar (see Section 1.3 Channel distribution).

0° is the horizontal direction.
•
The upward direction is defined as positive (see Figure 6. Channel vertical distribution (unit: mm)).
