Chapter 3 Install Pedestals
Before You Start
Prepare for the
installaon tools, check the device and the accessories, and clear the installaon
base.
Steps

The installaon diagram is for illustraon. For details, please refer to Wiring for video guide.

The device should be installed on the concrete surface or other at non-ammable surfaces.
●
Make sure the device is powered o during installaon and other operaons.
●
The
installaon tools are put inside the package of the pedestal.
●
To prevent stainless steel from
rusng due to dirt during construcon, it is recommended that
the
protecve lm be removed aer the installaon is completed. There may be residual
adhesive at the lm cung posion. It is recommended to use WD-40 protecve liquid to wipe
aer tearing the lm.
●
It is recommended that at least two people collaborate to install the sleeve. You'd beer wear
gloves throughout the enre process, handle with care, and pay aenon to prevenng crushing
or pinching injuries.

Prepare for the installaon tools, check the components, and prepare for the installaon base.
2.
Seal the
boom of the pedestal with sealing materials to prevent water accumulaon.
3.
Remove the protecve panel on the top of the device, and determine the barrier direcon and
the pedestal
installaon posion according to the default barrier opening direcon mark.

Do not immerse the pedestal in the water. In special circumstances, the immersed height should
be no more than 150 mm. The boom circuit board can't be immersed.
4.
Use a cross screwdriver to remove screws of the decorave ring and cable protecon panel, and
complete wiring.
