2Installation
On delivery, the device is ready for operation.
The following procedure has been proven to be successful for the assembly
of the device:
Unpacking and checking the content of the package
Installing an SFP transceiver (optional)
Wiring and assembling the signal contact
Installing the device and grounding
Operating the device
Connecting data cables
Note: Read the safety guidelines under “Safety instructions” on page 5.
2.1 Unpacking and checking the content of the
package
Check whether the package includes all items named in section “Scope
of delivery” on page 34.
Check the individual parts for transport damage.
