How to Change Logical NIC assignment
Note:
• You can assign a number of VF NIC over the maximum number of shares
per port on screen settings. However, the total number of VF NIC on
activated LPAR can be assigned up to the maximum number of shares per
port.
• If the total number of VF NIC on activated LPAR is assigned over the
maximum number of shares per port, "The VF is already assigned the
maximum assignable times to LPARs." is displayed while activating LPAR,
and then activation fails.
