Preparing the USB flash drives
To wipe the data from the S Series Node drives, you need two bootable
USBflash drive that contain the HCP S Series operating system ISO image.
You use Rawrite32 to put the ISOimage on the drives and make the drives
bootable.
Rawrite32 prepares the USBflash drive from an ISO image file named
HS221_release-number.iso (for example, HS221_2.1.1.5.iso). You use
InfraRecorder to create the ISOimage file from the HCP S Series operating
system installation files that are available on CD.
Creating the HCP S Series operating system ISO image file
To create the HCP S Series operating system ISOimage file from the
operating system installation files on the CD:
1. Insert the HCP S Series operating system installation file CD into the CD
drive in your laptop computer.
2. In Windows Explorer, open the Properties window for the CD drive. Make
a note of the installation file CD name displayed in the Properties
window. The name has this format:
HS221_
release-number
This is the name to use for the ISOimage file you create.
3. Start InfraRecorder.
4. In the InfraRecorder window, click on Read Disc.
5. In the Copy to Disc Image window:
a. Ensure that the Source field identifies the drive into which you
inserted the CD.
b. Click on ... next to the Image file field.
c. In the Save As window:
