To unpack an enclosure:
1. Remove the four clips on each of the two opposite ends of the carton
containing the enclosure. To remove a clip, while squeezing the tabs on
the clip, pull the clip out of the carton.
2. Lift the top off the carton.
3. Remove any accessible boxes containing additional S30 Node
components from inside the carton.
4. Lift the sides off the bottom of the carton.
Set the clips and the parts of the carton aside so that the carton can be
reassembled.
5. Remove any foam packing pieces from the top of the enclosure.
Keep all foam packing pieces with the enclosure carton. You will need
them for repacking the enclosure.
6. Conditionally, if the S30 Node includes upgrade kits, slide the two straps
off the top of the enclosure. You do not need to completely remove the
straps.
You need to slide the straps off only the number of enclosures equal to
the number of upgrade kits. These can be any of the enclosures.
Step 2 (conditional): Insert the upgrade-kit drives into
enclosures
If the S30 Node includes one or more upgrade kits that come packaged
separately, you need to insert the 28 drives from each upgrade kit into an
enclosure. You can use any enclosure for each upgrade kit.
