b. While pushing back the green plastic sliders at the front end of the
rails on both sides of the enclosure, push back on the enclosure to
release it. Then slide the enclosure all the way back into the rack
until the enclosure clicks into place.
Step 3 (conditional): Unpack the server modules
If the S30 Node was returned unracked, you need to unpack the server
modules.
To unpack a server module:
1. Open the top of the server module carton. Leave the sides of the carton
intact so that the server module can be repacked.
2. Remove the server module accessory box, the box containing the server
module rail kit, the two power cables, and, if applicable, the server
interconnect cable and two BMCinterconnect cables from inside the
carton.
3. Lift the server module out of the carton.
4. Place the server module within the required distances from the
applicable enclosures. For specific information on positioning the server
module, see Step 1 (conditional): "Unpack the enclosure" on
page24.
Keep all packing materials with the server module carton. You will need
them when you repack the server module.
