This book contains complete step-by-step instructions for refurbishing
Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) S Series Nodes that are returned to
the Hitachi Data Systems
®
(HDS) distribution center. Refurbishing an S
Series Node returns its components to a condition in which they can be used
either in new S Series Nodes or as replacement parts for existing S Series
Nodes.
Intended audience
This book is intended for people who refurbish S Series Nodes. The book
assumes you have some experience assembling, disassembling, and
configuring computer systems.
