LUBRICATION SYSTEM
OIL PUMP
REMOVAL
Drain the engine oil (page 3-9).
Remove the alternator assembly (page 11-2).
Remove the oil pump cover bolts (2 nos.).
5 mm BOLTS
Screw the two 5 mm bolts into the threaded holes in the
oil pump cover and pull the cover out of the right
crankcase.
Remove the oil pump gear shaft and gear.
Remove the oil pump mounting bolts (2 nos.) and the oil
pump assembly.
