FUEL SYSTEM
CARBURETOR BODY
Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive under
certain conditions. Work in a well ventilated area.
Smoking or allowing flames or sparks in the work area
or where gasoline is stored can cause a fire or
explosion.
Disconnect the fuel tube from the carburetor.
Remove the choke cable.
Disconnect the throttle switch connectors.
Pull out the float pin and remove the float and float valve.
Inspect the float valve and seat for wear or damage.
Replace the float valve if it is damaged.
If the seat is damaged, replace the carburetor body.

DISASSEMBLY
Remove the float chamber screws (2 nos.) and float
chamber.

CONNECTORS
Remove the drain tube.
Loosen the air cleaner connection guide band screw.
Remove the carburetor mounting bolts (2 nos.), insulator
and carburetor.
