INSPECTION
CRANKSHAFT
1) Clean all oil from the crank pin and connecting rod big
2) Place a piece
of
plastigauge on the crank pin, install the
end
I.D.
connecting rod and cap and tighten the bolts.
TORQUE:
12 N*m (1.2 kgf*m,
9
Ibf*ft)
Do not rotate the crankshaft while the plastigauge is in
place.
3) Remove the connecting rod and measure the plastigauge
at its widest portion.
