Remove the bolt, pull out the idler gear
shaft. and take out the idle gear.

Inspect
Measure
the idle gear for tooth damage.

Measure the idle gear shaft O.D..
Measure the idle gear-to-shaft clearance.
SERVCE LIMIT: 0.1 mm (0.004 in.)
