Y - Vertical Bar Code Offset
The vertical bar code offset allows you to offset the vertical center of the signature
capture area. Negative numbers indicate that the signature capture is above the
bar code, and positive numbers indicate that the area is below the bar code. Mea-
surements are in multiples of the minimum bar width
.
RF Default Imaging Device
The 8680i supports imaging command processing (IMGSHP, IMGSNP, IMGBOX)
so that EZConfig-Scanning (see page 177) and other applications are able to per-
form imaging functions as if they were communicating directly with the 8680i. To
accomplish this, the 8680i uses a menu command called RF_DID (RF Default
Imaging Device). RF_DID is the name of the 8680i (BT_NAM) that is to receive
imaging commands. The default for RF_DID is “*”indicating that imaging com-
mands are to be sent to all associated 8680is. Change this setting to RF_DIDde-
vice_name to ensure that they are sent to a particular 8680i. Refer to Scanner
Report on page 27 to generate a report containing the port, 8680i name, and
address for each 8680i. Refer to Device Name on page 37 set a unique name for
each 8680i.
