In this example, the reset of the safety barrier is automatically performed at power up or after any intrusion in the
detection field. However, if the NO contact of one of the two additional relays K1 and K2 remains welded, automatic
reset is forbidden until the failure is removed. Connecting NC contacts of K1 and K2 between terminals C3 and C5 will
provide a fault-tolerant connection to the machine stopping circuitry.
All external relays are safety relays with
guided contacts.
